The Local Club from Markowice and GH Hope Foundation

The local club from Markowice and GH Hope & Help Foundation jointly organised the President's Cup tournament of LKS 07 Markowice, played at Arena Rafako. The participants were children born in 2008, competing in a friendly but ambitious round-robin format.

Teams such as GLKS Wlokniarz Kietrz, GKS Szombierki Bytom, LKS Tworkow and two host sides, LKS 07 Markowice, took part in the tournament. Each match gave the young footballers real experience of competing on a proper arena pitch — an opportunity many village clubs could never afford on their own.
